This is my first post!! Finally got time to put something since coming to Israel. A lot of problems initially.. Blog about if later if the mood is there.

Thanks everyone for coming to send me off. And for all the cards and of coz the soccer ball which can help satisfy my ball needs =D

Goodbye to my family! My mum cried. Ok, first time her child go away for so long to such an unfamiliar country, dunno how I will be doing in Israel, so naturally is a bit worried ya. Zhao take good care of everyone ok, and got time pls sweep up my room once a month. I will do some Skype calling and video calls when my internet is up.

BadBoysBlues and WAGs! We have known each other for so long. Thanks for the soccer ball, and why didn’t anyone stop the writing of Man Utd stuff onto it by Rayd?! Thanks for all the wonderful years together since from dunno when and the MacDonalds gibberish that follows. I’ll miss the weekly soccer but my performances have been deteriorating anyway, needed a break. Will train up my skills dribbling in the minefields around! And Arsenal will triumph next season.

Eileen’s family is here too. Always so nice to me and having a lot of great food together (but the variety of food is limited, always order the same stuff, opps) Hope Eileen’s dad will be happy in his new job, her mum can get to go home early again from work like before and Yiyun don’t be too stressed up by her project work and good luck to her exams. Help me take care of Eileen k!!

And next up are my new friends for the last year, the postgraduate students, ok only one student. Only Sok Yee still qualifies, Susi has gone for greener pasture, Jia Yan couldn’t make it, Yiqiang and Carcassi are playing basketball and some kuku lost his wallet on the way here. Hopefully I can bring back some results to make the headlines!

Ahh, my best university buddies from year 1. Busy Kenny who actually is free to send me off wow, pretty Mel Mel (pls dun quarrel with guang guang k), ever young looking Yihui and the missing Regine who has more important things to do (note: owe me another Turf City treat when I get back, I won’t forget). I always wondered how come we became so close together, its amazing isn’t it. Still remember the good old days doing the 3G phone project, the advertisement we do is a classic for life. I will have to miss our makan sessions for a while.

Bye my friends from Bioengineering. All of us have just embarked on our various careers. Probably will have major changes when I get back. Steven & Qiu Yan getting married? Guo Hao going to change a job? Adrian becoming chess champion of viwawa? Liling giving me free tix to F1 and Flyer and IR? Dawn getting a job? Yan Qi getting her paper published? Soon Seng to burn this man utd shirt he wear and support Arsenal?

Goodbye to my darling. Have been through so many ups and downs. This may be a testing time for our relationship but I’m sure we can both pass this test. While physically apart, we can still keep in contact regularly, msn, email, skype call. Come Israel visit me k, once I have settled down and found an apartment. A pity we couldn’t spend the 4th year anniversary together. Don’t even bear to give you a longer hug because I afraid I cant let go. Wait for me to come back! We shall both concentrate on our respective research so that will have time to spend together when we meet again!

So long Singapore! I will miss all my friends, family, girlfriend, football, police duties, NTU (which I will miss the opening of the new canteen =( sad), and all the yummy food around. Not sure what Israelis eat, but I will find out.

Sandeep, my partner in crime and my buddy for the next month. We shall explore Haifa and the Technion together. I’m sure we will both have a great experience to bring back to Singapore.
